Edward "Buddy" McLaughlin 11-30-49 to 10-03-07

Buddy pass away on a warm fall day while sitting on his back deck from a heart attack. My name is Edward Lufkin, Buddy is my Uncle. Growing up, Buddy was the one person we knew not to tick off. However, Buddy was the type of guy who's word was GOLD! He would do anything for anyone, UNLESS you had did him wrong at some point. And he didn't forget!

I would like to share a story about the day Buddy past away, I had problems with my refrigerator, it would not make ice. I called Buddy as he worked at the time for Sears as a appliance repair tech. He had me check a few things but we could not get it working. He told me that he would stop by next week to look at it. A couple of hours latter I got the call that he had passed. I was devastated, my dad, Buddy and myself spent every June at the Americade bike rally in Lake George NY for the last several years. A couple of hours after getting the call of his passing, I was in the Kitchen and heard a noise, then again, I checked the ice box and the thing was making ice. Like I said he was a man of his word.
